Something I do in the morning...& observe

Every morning upon arriving at workplace, i will go to the washroom to make my hair. I mean gel it to make it spikey... dont want bad hair days.. so gotta do it.

Oh, why I only do it when I arrive in office? cuss I ride... when spikey hair meets helmet, all become flat.

Anyway... there is something that I observe over few months:

I walk in and wash my hand, make sure I dont bring germs to my scalp.
Wet my hair.
Wipe my hand dry.
Start to gel...I use Gatsby Long-Keep GEL. haha.. *advertisement*
I make my hair nice nice.. spikey lor...
So now, whenever I am doing my hair... somehow...
another guy in the toilet with nice hair or balding, they tend to pay attention to their hair, they will either wet their hair, or comb their scalp...
So MONKEY SEE MONKEY DO is true! haha...

For the benefits of another gender:
Normally when guys go washroom, most of the time la, will just pee and wash hand and bang.. out of washroom.

Well, next time, try it in the washroom.

My trip to Taipei Part 1

Went to Taipei in August 2006 (5-9 Aug).

The entire trip was DIY, effort put in by me and my dear.

Will share with you what we did before and during the trip.

Stay tune.

---------------------------------------------------------
Before trip:

Checked air ticket (return ticket) from Jetstarasia and Singapore Airlines(SQ) online. Found that the price difference is $50 per pax, of course is SQ more ex. BUT, with meals and entertainment on board, plus pillows plus blanket. So, it is worth it. I booked it online and got everything ready within half an hour after confirming with my dear.

So, that kick start the trip. I booked it 1 month before the actual date. Next come the headache for lodging and must go places planning.

To be continued .....

Congratulations to Andy and Karina!

Solution to HDB killer litter

Singaporean has been very much of nature lovers, tend to plant alot of flowers, green plants, some even planted watermelon at the corridor. Well, if it is inside the barrier, think should be fine but some likes to SHOW off... by putting it on the barrier. It is a time bomb to the pedestrians downstairs.. anytime drop.. pow! tht's it.

See the pots on top.. it is divided into half at the bottom and i think it solves Singapore's HDB problem. Enterpreneurs, start producing and sell la! haha...

Beee Dock (Bedok) Wakeboarding World Cup

"Welcome to Bee Dock Reservoir Wakeboarding World Cup Championship sponsored by HSBC! Thanks blah blah blah for sponsoring...", annouced the caucasion commentator. Tht's how bee dok came about. haha...
It should be read as, BRE-DOP as in the Brenda BRE, DOP as.... ah.. dunno la.. how to add in the pronunciation har?

Anyway, went there today, reach there about 1.15pm. Kinda hazy and hot weather. Was excited to see ppl doing stunts at the reservoir. This time not alone, accompanied by my lover.

Took quite alot of photos using my 90mm-300mm zoom lens, set at AP. AP -Aperture Priority, allows me to set the smaller aperture but let the camera chooses the shutter speed. Get wat i mean ? Hmm.. dunno can ask me ba...

There are man and woman categories and got 1 asian in woman category, she's from China. Well, she didnt perform tht well, dropped a few times after a series of difficult stunts, but alrite, she stands out among the caucasians.

Sun came out at about 3pm, but i left shortly after tht, cuss the weather getting hotter and the heats is building... and more photographers!

Click here to see more photos. [some of it, took about 250 shots.. haha]

R u too much into ipod? or aging?

Got this from a colleague.

"Most humans are born with the ability to hear frequencies from about 20 Hz (low) up to 20,000 Hz (high) but that range shrinks as we get older. A guy in England figured that meant kids can hear things adults can't - specifically, very high frequencies. .."

Career change or butt itchy...dilemma

Dunno i butt itchy or wat... dun find the joy and motivation on current job.

Have been pondering since few months back... is my career gonna be like this for the rest of my life? Am i gonna go any further of my career path?

Oh... what do i do ? me a Web developer who based on open source technology.

I find tht I do kinda the same things for the past 1.5 yrs: locate the program bugs, kill it and enhance it. It is the same in all my job, be it small company (dotcom kind) to MNC. How how?

Is it time to change my career or just stay on? By the way, I am only close to six months in my current job.

Hmm... Should I be grasshopper again? jump to another field? or stay? or jump camp (to another side -> MS?)? haiz....

Do leave a words of advice or comments or intro job to me. Hmmm... best if u can recommend some career switch to me.

Thanks.

Solo Outing [Sun, 20060924]

Took this at Jurong Lakside park. haha.. actually wanted to go Lantern Festival at Chinese Garden but end up at the park. Why?Cuss you need to pay for entrance, $10! Be it day or night... daylight robbery ah... the light is not on and yet wanna charge same price...tsk tsk...
So, I went to the park beside it and took some photos. Was so hot that day...

Tested my Canon 90mm-300mm USM lens that day too but nothing interesting to show... But the photo is fantastic although taken from a far distance.

Saw two eagles, i think so.. in the sky.. so i quickly changed from my short lens, 18mm-55mm kit lens to the zoom lens. Then i look up, both gone! argh...!!! Haiz.. I think i need to practise to change lens as fast as drawing gun... haha...

Guess what this is... [scroll down]
