Don't wait till last minute (till you are gone..)

The dragon boat incident had taught me some life lessons. Some life lessons that are pretty hard to learn and always been forgotten at good times.

Dont wait till you are gone. Alot of time, we put our own interest first, "I can still go to church next week. Is alrite that I don't attend today." Aren't this familiar ?
You and me, at times, we do have some things on our priority list that pushed going to church, worshipping the Almighty God behind....
Once, twice... is ok. I will go back to You Lord, one day. Let me attend to this special occasions..
After a few time, we no longer see the importance of worshipping the Lord, start to see it as a chores.
If you are lucky, you realize it early and go back to the Lord.
If you are not, I am not sure where you will end up.
So, don't wait till you are gone!

Spend time and cherish every moment with the people around you. Be it 1 min, 2 mins... do your part as a loving being on this earth. If you are christians, live it as the Lord has instructed us to be, LOVE EACH ONE ANOTHER.
The person's life you briefly interacted might have an impact from your action or yourself blessed by doing so.
On the other hand, your family and friends, cherish the time you have with them, every moment, every seconds. Because you neva know when you will see him/her again.

The big ME ME ME.
We had always put ourselves as number 1. The big ME has broken many lives, causing breakups, divorces and separations.
If you like this ME, you will see yourself in a smaller world by yourself. Studies in Korea has found that many more individuals live alone, thus even coffee table is just a small square for you and your cup of coffee. How sad, isnt it ?

So, please please lowercase this ME to me. Are'nt this small me, looks better?

Take care of others and put them first in your life, am sure that they will be blessed with you around. This is how Jesus lived his short life on this earth.

Today, make an impact and change how you think, you never know when is your final breath.

In Remembrance of Reuben Kee

Photo shot last month in 14 Oct during One Heart concert at Thomson Chinese Church.

It happens so sudden and all the One Heart members are in the state of shock when Ps.Matthew Yuen announce the news of him missing.

He is one of the 5 deceased during a Dragon Boat Race mishap in Phnom Penh (Myanmar) on 23 Nov night. He was found 40 hours later at the down stream of Tonle Sap river.

Now found and the body is back in Singapore, we pray that you and your family to be taken care by the Lord.

We human will not be able to accept the fact and why it happens but to trust that God has His will for all these.

To see how talented he is :

Char Siew Pao anyone ?

Recent issues with China products had even spread to the Chinese's favourite Char Siew Pao...
Mixed high-fibre stuff.. 'very healthy'!

The mixture is 6-4, what 6-4 ? 6 parts of high fibre(cardboard) + 4 parts of fatty meats...
No wonder Chinese who eats this fatty stuff wont get fat, cuss of the the "high fibre"!

Really hope those unscrupulous idiots will stop such acts soon.... Just for money, anything can be done. tsk tsk tsk....

Ladies with big bags...

Took a bus home after watching Transformer! Very nice childhood cartoon turns into movie... like it...

But that's not the point for this blog entry.... =)

Ok, I found a seat.. next to a lady. Since i boarded a bus that is usually packed... so quickly sat down. The next thing i know is, i only can sit 3/4 of my seat, my other 1/2 butt is hanging.

Why is it so ? A super BUEY ZHU DONG lady with a big white handbag neva move her big handbag. I tot alrite that she is talking on the phone and not noticing it... well, no! She just fixed
at her position the entire journey. I just could not understand.... haiz.

Ladies with huge handbag, please have mercy! Keep your bag to yourself and not 'sharing' it with another strangers......

Do not be greedy - 骗局

Got this link from www.guangming.com.my , a Malaysia press.

Need to warn people out there to be carefull, not to fall for such a quick get-rich scheme or win big prize by transferring money to their bank account, then disappear.

Thank this Mr.Tee for his effort by recording the whole cheating process.

Sharing with the whole world, their conversation.

Total got 3 parts, listen to all of it. Sorry, all in mandarin. =)

Went to Carnivore at Vivocity....

Some thursday ago, my dept organized a birthday celebration for one of the colleague at Carnivore Restaurant in Vivocity.

The restaurant is quite an ATAS feel... got other drinking wine... some having a sip of champagne.

The food as the name says, is carnivore, meat-based. They served food like kebab style with one big skewer with big piece of meat, cutted in front of you.

My colleagues was so scare tht the knife holding using the index finger will drop and cut their hand. haha.. but is an interesting way to serve food.

The meats served was Pork, Beef Top, Pork Top, Chicken top, Chicken heart, garlic bread, Lamb Top. All nicely bbq-ed, tasty and some quite chewy.

Oh ya, forgot to mention that they have a brazillian style salad.. should be la hor.. cuss it is a brazillian theme restaurant. One of the salad dish that caught my attention is the butter kailan (green vege chopped into small pieces and cooked with butter).

Got at least 10 dishes of salad... served unlimited.

Price : $40+++

*How to tell them to stop serving meat to you? Turn a round card on the table to the red side.

Happy Dumpling (Dragon Boat) Festivals! 端午节快乐!

Happy Dumpling (Dragon Boat) Festivals!

Too bad this yr my mum injured her neck... so i dare not "order" dumplings from my mother.

Well, wish her well is more important. =)

The origin of dumpling festivals:

"This Festival, also known as Tuen Ng Festival, commemorates the death of a popular Chinese national hero, Qu Yuan, who drowned himself in the Mi Lo River over 2,000 years ago to protest against the corrupt rulers. Legend says that as townspeople attempted to rescue him, they beat drums to scare fish away and threw dumplings into the sea to keep the fish from eating Qu Yuan's body. "

I guess it is better that he/she keeps a fish....

And who can help me to get my sleep back ?

The day we went Singapore Botanical Garden.

The Young Adults (some) went to SBG (Singapore Botanical Garden) for saturday(Sabbath) afternoon nature walk. Had fun enjoying the creation of God.

The weather was hot but quite cloudy, was protected from the sun for half an hour before it came out to shine on us.

Walked around the garden, passed Swan Lake and saw 2 swans wandering around the lake. They are quite human friendly and even came very near to us. One of it, the wings are abit weird with some feather protruding that looks abit like chariot's weapon. Well, nothing can be done, we continued our walk to the other side of the garden.

Other interesting shots can be found here.

So many things happen... But we have GOD!

1. Got a call on last friday that my mother fell. She sounded ok but warded today for further observation. Will be having CT scan in the afternoon.

2. Today, Joyce sprained her knee. Resting at home.

Is it time that we need to pray more to God ? Well, it should be everyday.
Pray earnestly and He will hear.

Taiwan Zoo's Vet Hand Ripped Off...

Tht's the hand of the vet who was trying to medicate the nile croc. Unknowing that the tranquilizer has yet to take effect on the croc, he put his hand into the mouth thru a small grill.

Then the croc strikes! And his hand got ripped off....

Fortunately, his zoo mate managed to get the hand back from the croc after shooting twice on the croc. The vet got his hand reattached at the end.

What an exciting job in a zoo...
