We the 50s' man (boy)!

Our church organized a 50yrs Anniversary Dinner on 28 Jan 2007.
It was held at Quality Hotel but the hall manager got not much quality, anyhow change things, and never follow our instrustion properly.
kk.. enough of complain...
We had fun on that day, the theme was 50s', back to the old days. So, we all dressed in that fashion.
Hmm.. we shoot the photo just like the old days, no smiling face, just the blank and black face look.
Whose dressing do you like the most in the photo ?

忠烈祠

Change of guards duty every hour.

Inside view of 忠烈祠 .
Notice the 3 lines in the middle, it is caused by the changing of guards duty ceremony every hour.

View from inside out, towards the entrance.

More more Taipei!

Policeman in the middle of a busy MTR staion.
Directing people and as a deterrance to crime.. *but look at his shape... can meh? haha...*

This is the MTR station that leads you to Shilin night market(士林夜市)。
剑潭站。

Shilin night market(士林夜市) in the morning.

Notice the sign board inside a cab.
"No vulgarities allowed in the cab."

More on Taipei!

西门町 at night.

This is the hotel i stayed for 4 nights.
Neijiang Hotel. http://www.neijiang-hotel.com.tw/
Total : about SGD$250. Cheap cheap per night.

西门町 in the morning.

Guess what the brown building is.....

police station!
It is facing the main street of 西门町. See the scooter parked outside the station, there are at least 40 of them.

Taipei Trip in Aug 2006 (Abit late to blog... haha)

Arrival at Chiang Kai-Sek Airport after 4 hours of flight from Singapore.
On SQ ! very nice.... haha..

This is the bus that brings you to Taipei Train Station.
Taipei train station is accessible to anywhere as it is connected by train, mtr (Taiwa MRT system called MTR), buses.

First meal me and my gf had. 蛋花汤。Big big bowl.
Where is the place ? See the chopstick paper on the left, it is somewhere near 西门町。

After meal, walk around 西门町, very nice advertisement on building.
The street is still vibrant after 10pm.

This is where I grew up! *miss the place*

The middle flat is where I used to stay for 18 years since born.

This is the air well. Notice the antenna wire that connects the TV at home to the antenna on top.
The slanted thing is the staircase, behind the staircase is rubbish chute and the chute is always occupied by drug addicts.
Saw them 'enjoying' their reward....when i was a kid.

This is the corridor that connects to every house. The right side is the staircase also.
The mid-way always got pee and sh**.

Went back to where I used to stay during the new year holiday. The feeling was good and the whole place was also very nostalgic.
Why ? The people there, neva change; the shops, neva change; the scent, neva change; the hawker food, neva change!
But people do age la... =)

And Jimmy being the musician of the night, he led us to sing some cheering song.... oh ya, why he led us ? Cuss whoever cause the Jenga to collapse had to finished the leftover bread. haha....

Look at the experession of everyone behind the Jenga.

Hope you had good time during Xmas celebration!
