R u too much into ipod? or aging?

Got this from a colleague.

"Most humans are born with the ability to hear frequencies from about 20 Hz (low) up to 20,000 Hz (high) but that range shrinks as we get older. A guy in England figured that meant kids can hear things adults can't - specifically, very high frequencies. .."

Career change or butt itchy...dilemma

Dunno i butt itchy or wat... dun find the joy and motivation on current job.

Have been pondering since few months back... is my career gonna be like this for the rest of my life? Am i gonna go any further of my career path?

Oh... what do i do ? me a Web developer who based on open source technology.

I find tht I do kinda the same things for the past 1.5 yrs: locate the program bugs, kill it and enhance it. It is the same in all my job, be it small company (dotcom kind) to MNC. How how?

Is it time to change my career or just stay on? By the way, I am only close to six months in my current job.

Hmm... Should I be grasshopper again? jump to another field? or stay? or jump camp (to another side -> MS?)? haiz....

Do leave a words of advice or comments or intro job to me. Hmmm... best if u can recommend some career switch to me.

Thanks.

Solo Outing [Sun, 20060924]

Took this at Jurong Lakside park. haha.. actually wanted to go Lantern Festival at Chinese Garden but end up at the park. Why?Cuss you need to pay for entrance, $10! Be it day or night... daylight robbery ah... the light is not on and yet wanna charge same price...tsk tsk...
So, I went to the park beside it and took some photos. Was so hot that day...

Tested my Canon 90mm-300mm USM lens that day too but nothing interesting to show... But the photo is fantastic although taken from a far distance.

Saw two eagles, i think so.. in the sky.. so i quickly changed from my short lens, 18mm-55mm kit lens to the zoom lens. Then i look up, both gone! argh...!!! Haiz.. I think i need to practise to change lens as fast as drawing gun... haha...

Guess what this is... [scroll down]

Lowepro SlingShot 200 AW

Got this LowePro bag for my 350D. The original bag given when I purchase the Canon 350D is too small for a zoom lense that I got few weeks back.
Zoom lense : Canon 90mm-300mm USM lense. Sounds crazy rite? Well, the salesman talk me into buying it. Cuss it is not that expensive for a beginner to own the zoom lense. So, I tot for awhile, then agree to take it.

I like the LowePro bag, just the way I like to carry my bag. It is kinda friendly bag too. You see that it is opened from the side rite?
Har.. there is a reason behind it, once you saw a nice subject, you can quickly slide it to your side, then quickly retrieve your camera, then snap!

Cool hor? haha...

If you want to know more about it, click here . It has been in the market for quite some time. The salesman did mention, it get sold out pretty soon and gotta wait for another shipment. Dunno how true it is, anyway.. it is worth the money. =) Posted by Picasa

The day I got my 350D

Was so happy about it....

Actually I have been pondering on whether I should get this camera or not...it took a trip, few days of thinking, talking to someone who owns a DSLR to decide on whether to buy it.

Here are some guides for those who are thinking of whether getting a DSLR for themselves, think carefully cuss it is an expensive toy. (be is 1st hand or 2nd hand....)
  • My compact (P&C) digital camera is limited, couldnt shoot my kids in a more artistic way...
  • I want to shoot that gorgeous eagle..!!! (maybe a girl from far...)
  • I want to shoot that ah pek digging nose.... (yucks!!)
  • Sian with the P&C functions ? (DSLR has got alot to learn....never ending....)
  • I like to explore into photography...cuss my photo is my life!
  • Always remember that having DSLR don't mean that you are more superior than P&C owner, cuss anytime P&C can take a better photo than you do! (neva neva haolian < arrogant in hokkien dialect.>)
  • Last but not least, do i have the Vitamin. $ ?

So, still wanna buy ? Well...Go with ur instinct, no regrets... hehe...

Not too late!

At least I start blogging now... better than neva rite?

As you can see from my title, I will share with you my thoughts and learning path of photography.
Well, it started of with purchasing of a Canon 350D camera... i know, i know... 400D is out. Tht's why i got the 350D cuss new model comes out, old model price drop.
Ahar.. now you got it, it is now more affordable to own 1 DSLR la... hehe.

Ok.. stay tune to see more of me, as a beginner for a DSLR camera.
